Nodir Devonbegi

Today is our 11th of prictice day. The weather is perfect. We arrenged  going to Nodir Devonbegi madrasah. Let's start.


Nodir Devonbegi, also known as Nodir Divan-Begi, was a prominent statesman and poet who lived in the 17th century. He was born in what is now Uzbekistan and served as the governor of the Bukhara region under the rule of the Janid dynasty.



Devonbegi was known for his literary works, which included poetry, prose, and historical chronicles. His most famous work is the "Divan-i Nodir," a collection of poems that celebrates the natural beauty of the region and the joys of love and wine.



In addition to his literary pursuits, Devonbegi was also a skilled administrator and diplomat. He played a key role in negotiating peace agreements with neighboring states and in promoting trade and commerce in the region.

Today, Devonbegi is celebrated as a national hero in Uzbekistan, and his works continue to be widely read and studied. The Nodir Devonbegi Memorial Museum in Bukhara showcases his life and achievements, and his legacy is still celebrated through various cultural events and festivals in the region.
