Ulugbek Madrasah

Hello my dears . I am very happy because l see again  my this blog. Today's internship was arranged to go to the Ulugbek Madrasah. Today the is sunny and good.


The Ulugbek Madrasah is a historic Islamic school located in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. It was built in the early 15th century by Ulugbek, a famous astronomer and ruler of the Timurid Empire.The madrasah features a large courtyard surrounded by classrooms, living quarters for students, and a mosque with a beautiful blue dome. The exterior of the building is decorated with intricate tile work and calligraphy, while the interior features beautiful frescoes and intricate wood carvings.



Ulugbek was known for his patronage of the arts and sciences, and the madrasah was intended to be a center for Islamic education and scholarship. It attracted many students from around the Islamic world and played a key role in the development of Islamic thought and culture.

Today, the Ulugbek Madrasah is a popular tourist attraction and an important site for the study of Islamic history and culture.

 Day 1 This day our first practice day. Today the weather is hot .Our practice teacher Kuldasheva Nigora. She is very strict. Today we go Chor Bakr. This historical place is very beautiful. Chor-Bakr is a memorial complex in the village of Sumitan at 5 km of Bukhara in Uzbekistan, built over the burial place of Abu-Bakr-Said, who died in the year 360 of the Muslim Calendar (970–971 AD), and who was one of the four of Abu-Bakrs (Chor-Bakr) – descendants of Muhammad.  The complex includes the necropolis of family tombs, and courtyards enclosed with walls.

November16, 2023 Hello to everyone Today our second day in practise and our destination was Ark where is the winter place of Amir.The Ark of Bukhara is a massive fortress located in the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan, that was initially built and occupied around the 5th century AD. In addition to being a military structure, the Ark encompassed what was essentially a town that, during much of the fortress's history, was inhabited by the various royal courts that held sway over the region surrounding Bukhara. The Ark was used as a fortress until it fell to Russia in 1920. Our practise started at 10 30 am as always and our first done work was checking our attendence our diaries and our reports about Ark.
